“Heyyyyyy, what’s new with you!?”
Pretty common way to greet someone when you haven’t seen them for a while. ⠀
Notice that we don’t ask: ⠀
“Hey, what’s old?”
or
“Hey, tell me what I already know”.
⠀
We ask what’s NEW. Because ‘NEW’ is exciting! And that’s exactly why we as business owners can never rest on our asses.
Ok look...
Social media has opened incredible doors for businesses. Easy access to target markets, potential to become viral, and the ability to reach the perfect prospect at the click of a button. But there’s a downside…
Ad Fatigue Is The REAL Pandemic
With the rise of social media, we’ve also seen a decrease in attention spans. It’s no secret that people’s ability to focus is shrinking, thanks to the endless stream of content and the infamous TikTok brain phenomenon.
Let’s be real, with ads bombarding us 24/7, it’s no wonder everyone’s attention is scattered. So, how do we tackle this problem?
How To Keep Your Prospect Intrigued
Don’t worry, I’m not about to ask you to do any TikTok dancing!
Instead, the key to overcoming short attention spans is variety. The solution isn’t just chopping your content into bite-sized, 60-second snippets. It’s about offering your audience a buffet of content options.
Here’s the deal…
If you’re currently running just one ad, it’s time to step it up. Aim to create at least three different ads.
If you’ve got a single video in your retargeting campaign, why not expand it to five or even ten?
The more variety you offer, the better you’ll keep your audience engaged and interested. Think of it as giving them a range of choices rather than just one dish. If your content is intriguing enough, your prospects will dive deep into it and stay connected.
So, get out there and start creating more content, more ads, and more of what your audience craves.
